Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef

2 eggs

1 c. tomato juice

3/4 c. quick cooking oats

2 t. salt

1 or 2 chopped onions

2 dashes pepper

Directions

Beat eggs and add all remaining ingredients (except ground beef), stir thoroughly.
Add mixture to ground beef and mix lightly.
Bake at 375 degrees F. for 1 hour.

Notes

This was an old standby for meals when I was growing up. Additionally, we took Meat Loaf to potluck dinners and to friends in need. This was one of the first dishes I learned to cook for the family.
